Dermaplaning, or blading, is an exfoliating treatment that removes vellus or fine facial hair.
Dermaplaning treatments are performed by Doctors, Nurses and, in some states, Licensed Estheticians. This treatment uses a blade in a shaving motion to remove the fine facial hair commonly known as "peach fuzz" and gently exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin cells leaving the skin soft and smooth.
